From the flood irrigation and subirrigated drainage of Miller Creek to the hills of native grasses and abundant wildlife at the Sapphire Ranch, our cows experience the richness and variety that Montana has to offer. It is our privilege to work in harmony with the land, nurturing its biodiversity, resilience, and habitats for all its inhabitants.

Cows Suited for the Environment

Our breeding program focuses on selecting cows that are well-suited to the land. We aim for a compact and efficient cow that thrives on grass, legumes, and forbes, converting them into nutrient-dense beef.
